Nick Greenshield

Head of Singing

Nick is Course Leader for the BA (Hons) Performance in Musical Theatre at the Performance Preparation Academy (PPA) in Guildford, where he developed the degree programme.

A graduate of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, Nick has worked extensively across musical theatre in the UK. His credits include South Pacific, where he understudied Emile de Becque, and 42nd Street, directed by its co-author Mark Bramble, in which he played Pat Denning and understudied the role of Julian Marsh.

Other theatre credits include Beauty and the Beast (Monsieur D'Arque), Blood Brothers (Policeman/Teacher), appearing alongside Linda Nolan and Barbara Dickson, and Cats, where he covered Old Deuteronomy and Gus/Growltiger, which he played on numerous occasions.

Nick also played the title role in the national tour of Happy Birthday Postman Pat, celebrating the character’s 20th anniversary.
